Lemon Rice

(1 Cup Rice = 50 gm)
(1 Cup Water = 100 ml)



Ingredient

        For Cooking Rice

  1. Rice - 2 cups
  2. Water - 4 cups

        Other Ingredients

  1. Green Chili - 4 Pcs.
  2. Dry Red Chili - 2 Pcs
  3. Lemon - 2 Pcs
  4. Urad Dal - 1 table spoon
  5. Peanuts - 1 table spoon
  6. Leamon leaf - 4/5 leaves
  7. Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  8. Sunflower oil (You Can take any Oil)
  9. Turmeric Powder
  10. Mustard Seeds
  11. Salt



Preparation

    Chopping and Washing 

    Wash green chilies, lemon leaves, Urad Dal, Peanuts neatly. Then, chop the green chilies.

    Make Rice 

  • Rinse the rice neatly for multiple times.
  • Put it into cooker and add 4 cups of water, salt and turmeric powder.
  • Pressure cook it till 3 to 4 whistles. It takes around 11 to 14 minutes.
  • Turn off the flame and take the pressure out of the cooker.

    Make Lemon Rice 

  • Put these in Cooker and Cover the lid.
  • Allow this process for 10 minutes. Rice absorbs fragrance of lemon leaves

    Tempering

  • Put oil in a pan and heat in medium flame.
  • Put mustard seeds, salt, turmeric powder, dry red chilies, chopped green chilies, peanuts and urad dal in pan.
  • Cook it well for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Pour in into cooker
  • Mix it very well.

    Garnishing 

    Add Chooped Coriander leaves on the rice.

The Lemon Rice is ready to be served.
